Gabriel Coston Stovall a.k.a Ace Massive (grandson of Jewel "Babe" Stovall) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 5, 1986. His father James Stovall a pastor, his mother Selma Stovall a teacher, they moved to Port Sulphur, Louisiana when he was two years old. Now Stovall has two younger brothers Rendell Daniel Stovall and Joshua James Stovall. Life did not always come easy for Gabriel and his family. Losses during Hurricane Katrina and the recession meant hard times for them. Feeling like a burden on his family due to there being very little to go around, Ace decided to move to Texas in pursuit of a better life. Despite his efforts to get his degree Graphic and Web Design the circumstances he faced in a new city left him homeless, unable to finish his schooling and trying to find a way to get ahead. Even without money and a home Ace continued to pray, work with what he had at his disposal, write music and pursue his career with empty pockets, walking and catching rides wherever he had to go. Little did he know that his positive outlook and his relentless pursuit of his dream was about to take a turn for the better. In 2008 things began to change and the stars seemed to be lining up for Ace. Late in 2009 Ace met a Canadian when in Houston, TX who believed in him and his talent. Their support and assistance helped create a turning point in his life. In 2010 Massive moved to Regina, SK Canada with his girlfriend to work full time on completing his debut album "The Silent Takeover", which he completed and released on November 11th 2011. Since the release of The Silent Takeover Ace Massive has done many shows in Regina since making it his new home, including performing live on Access TV for “Food for Friends,” opening for Waka Flocka and Top Wise. Ace’s first music video “Culture Shock” was featured as a Saskatchewan music video at the Juno’s this past year and recently he collaborated with Orphan Music Records , Unltd, and Kyle Jordan on the single “Top of The World.” Ace continues to promote clean music and motivate youth on making positive life choices through his organization No Ego.
